Eileen’s experience and practice are multi-faceted, and she has gained a reputation in the industry as an IP problem-solver and an ability to turn her hand to any conceivable intellectual property issue, with a particular strength in the management of IP portfolios and extending to IP systems and processes.
At Caribbean IP Eileen has a strong focus on contentious issues, patents, and large-scale multi-territory trademark recordal projects. She brings to the table a wealth of international IP rights’ management experience which is invaluable to our regional practice, while her many years’ in-house experience is a huge asset to Caribbean IP and highly-valued by firm’s numerous international big brand clients – Eileen knows IP from the brand holder’s perspective.
Eileen is actively engaged with the International Trademark Association (INTA) and currently serves as co-chair of the Professional Development Portal Subcommittee. She is a past co-chair of INTA’s Trademark Administrators and Practitioners (TMAP) conference and has contributed to various INTA committees, continually expanding her network and knowledge.
As a result of her many years working in-house and significant professional achievements during this time, Eileen has previously been ranked by prestigious trademark law publication World Trademark Review in their WTR 300 ranking, a list of “the world’s leading corporate trademark professionals”.
In her spare time, Eileen enjoys geocaching, especially while traveling to new places in the world. She is a Girl Scout Gold Award mentor and takes adult tap and jazz classes, participating in the yearly dance recitals..
