Ruth Ann Mendel

Administrative Assistant

Ruth Ann’s experience and interest in the legal field developed with her first position as a paralegal at the State Attorney’s office in Palm Beach County. Her expertise earned her the distinction of being one of the only non-lawyers to sit at the prosecutor’s table during hearings and trials.

After 13 years with the State Attorney’s office, Ruth Ann decided to expand her knowledge base and went to work on the other side of the table taking a position with the defense firm Roth & Duncan, P.A. She continued to hone her skills there before working with Jan Weiss, Esq., another defense lawyer.

After taking a temporary step back from law, Ruth Ann resumed her legal career with Caribbean IP. Here, she has taken on the role and responsibility as an administrative assistant, managing the firm’s assortment of IP clients and matters.

In her spare time, Ruth Ann enjoys spending time with her mother, her children, and her grandchildren as well as playing tennis and enjoying the ocean. She also volunteers her time to help others in the community.
